Existence of a Metal that Melts in your Hand!

Did you know about Gallium? It's a fascinating chemical element on the Periodic Table that defies a commonly held perception about metals.

Typically, we associate metals with strength, hardness, and high melting points.

However, Gallium, represented by the symbol 'Ga' and atomic number 31, is known to melt at just about 29.76 degrees Celsius (85.57 degrees Fahrenheit), which is slightly above room temperature.

This means, intriguingly, if you were to hold a piece of this amazing metal in your hand, it would quite literally melt away! It was first discovered by French chemist Paul Emile Lecoq de Boisbaudran in 1875 through a spectroscope.

Its unique properties have been utilized in various high-tech fields such as semiconductors, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and solar panels..
