Did you know that the Amazon Rainforest, known as the 'lungs of the Earth' due to the massive amount of oxygen it produces, is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet? It covers over 2.1 million square miles across nine countries in South America.

Here's an astounding fact: Scientists believe that there are at least 400 billion individual trees which belong to 16,000 different species in the Amazon.

It's also home to about 2.5 million insect species, tens of thousands of plants, and around 2,000 birds and mammals.
